Application Engineer for Fire rated ducts , VAVs and Dampers

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  2. Experience in technical submissions, compliance statements for GI , fire rated ducts , Dampers and VAVs for consultant/contractor approval.
  3. Prepare BOQs and quotations.
  4. Support sales team in reviewing enquiries, RFQs, and tenders from a technical standpoint.
  5. Provide clarification to project managers and site teams on installation and commissioning requirements of Dampers
  6. Recommend cost-effective product solutions while maintaining compliance with project specs.
  7. Evaluate value engineering options without compromising safety or performance.
  • Heat load Calculations & Design in case of schedule not provided by the customer.
  • Equipment selection / Cost Estimation / Quotation
  • Follow up on Quotation.
  • Preparing Technical Submittal.
  • Preparation of Order Estimation sheet and getting it approved by Sales Manager/Sr.Manager.
  • Preparation of Project file and handing over the file to Sales Coordinator.
  • Get the specification from the contractors, based on the customer specification and the equipment schedule select fan models and quote based on price list & Cost Sheet.
  • Prepare submittal based on the contract specification and submit to the contractor/ consultant for approval.
  • Sending the order acknowledgement to customers.
  • Graduation or Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant exp. as an Application Engineer or similar roles
  • Understanding of HVAC Systems, Heat Load Calculations, HVAC Design using AutoCAD or similar software
  • Experience in Sales support - creating quotations and understanding of commercials
  • Understanding of creating Technical submittals based on project specifications
  • Good communications skills - written & verbal
