Application IT Operations Engineer
Salary: RM 3,600 – RM 4,800 per month
About the role
This is a Python development role focused on IT automation and workflow optimization. You will develop Python-based scripts and automation solutions, implement RESTful APIs, and integrate with ITSM platforms. You will participate in IT operations activities including system monitoring and incident management, while exploring emerging technologies like RPA and AI-Agent solutions to enhance existing processes.
Key responsibilities
Develop Python-based scripts and automation solutions to streamline IT workflows
Implement RESTful API development and system integration, and conduct docking and interaction with ITSM platforms
Participate in IT operation activities including system monitoring and incident management
Deliver stable code with complete error-handling mechanisms
Leverage monitoring tools, Git version control and CI/CD pipelines to support project delivery
Explore and apply RPA and AI-Agent-related technologies to optimize existing IT processes
About you
1-3 years of professional Python development experience, proficient in Python scripting and automation development
Practical hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, system integration and ITSM platform interaction
Good knowledge of IT operations, monitoring principles and incident-management workflows
Excellent problem-solving ability, capable of writing robust code with proper error handling
Fluent in Mandarin for effective communication within Chinese-speaking working environments
Familiar with mainstream IT monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Datadog
Experienced with Git version-control tools and CI/CD pipelines
Basic knowledge of Linux system administration and computer networking
Prior working experience with UiPath or other RPA tools is highly preferred
Familiar with popular AI tools, with a solid understanding of AI Agent concepts, workflows and relevant technologies
