Application Support Consultant - Fresh Graduate Friendly
About the role
This is not a typical IT role. We're looking for someone with hands-on HR experience in Hong Kong — particularly in payroll, MPF, leave administration, or general HR operations — who is ready to apply that knowledge in a new way: helping enterprise clients use our HRMS platform effectively. Your day-to-day will involve working with our HK clients (large enterprises across multiple industries) when they have questions about how to handle real HR scenarios in our system — calculating overtime, processing MPF contributions, applying leave entitlements, generating payroll runs, and so on. You'll be the person who understands the HR question first, then works with our technical team to deliver the right solution.
Key responsibilities
Be the first point of contact for HR/payroll-related questions from our HK enterprise clients
Translate client HR scenarios into clear, actionable requests — bridging the language between HR teams and our technical delivery teams
Walk clients through how to apply HK HR policies (Employment Ordinance, MPF, tax filing, leave rules) within our HRMS platform
Investigate and resolve issues by checking system data, escalating to L2/R&D where needed, and following through to closure
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new releases, especially on payroll, leave, and attendance modules — your HR perspective ensures we're testing for real-world scenarios
Maintain a clean knowledge base of common HR scenarios and their system solutions
Collaborate with our Project, R&D, and Application Support teams across the region
About you
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related discipline
1 years of hands-on HR experience in Hong Kong — HR Officer, HR Assistant, Payroll Officer, HR Executive, or similar, or HR related major fresh graduate.
Solid understanding of HK HR policies — Employment Ordinance, MPF Schemes Ordinance, payroll calculation logic, leave entitlement rules, tax filing basics
Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Willingness to learn the technical side — basic database concepts, SQL queries, and ticketing tools
Native Cantonese; fluent English and Mandarin for cross-team collaboration
HK work authorization (PR, IANG, or valid work permit)
Experience using any HRMS platform as an end user (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce, Talenox, Workstem, or similar)
Comfort with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic data manipulation)
