  • Contract:12 months, with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for amid-level Application Engineerto support aClient Reporting / Investment Technology project. This role will focus on designing, developing and maintainingdata pipelines and integration solutions, while also providing BAU support, enhancements and production support for critical data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build and maintain scalabledata pipelines, integrations and data solutions.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to translate business and data requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and support data ingestion, transformation, validation and reconciliation processes.
  • Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis and implement fixes and enhancements.
  • Monitor system and pipeline performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
  • Support testing, change implementation, production releases and ongoing BAU activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including data flows, mappings, interface specifications and operational runbooks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum5 years of experiencein Application Support, Data Engineering or Data/Application Development.
  • Strong hands-on experience inPython and SQL.
  • Experience working withdata pipelines, integrations, data transformation and data quality.
  • Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
  • Ability to work closely with both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive, adaptable mindset.
