Application Support Engineer
We are looking for a Application Support Engineer to join an international team responsible for ensuring the stability, monitoring, and continuous improvement of critical production environments. This role is ideal for a proactive and autonomous professional with strong analytical skills and proven experience in application operations, infrastructure management, and production support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and availability of critical applications and production platforms.
- Manage and oversee batch processing workflows using Control-M.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Monitor and support secure file transfer activities using CFT / Connect:Direct (Connect Express).
- Participate in Disaster Recovery activities, maintenance operations, and planned interventions.
- Collaborate with development, support, and infrastructure teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintain operational documentation, CMDB records, and technical procedures.
- Promote and support best practices in automation, observability, security, and DevOps.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in application support, operational support, or similar roles.
- Solid experience working with Linux and Windows environments, including system administration, command-line operations, and scripting.
- Hands-on experience with Control-M for workload automation and process scheduling.
- Experience with CFT / Connect Express or other secure managed file transfer solutions.
- Knowledge of application servers such as Apache Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server.
- Experience working in public cloud environments (AWS and/or GCP).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, ArgoCD, and observability platforms such as Dynatrace is highly valued.
- Experience with automation and infrastructure scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Bash.
- Knowledge of ITSM platforms, preferably ServiceNow.
- Understanding of ITIL best practices and Agile ways of working.
- Professional proficiency in English (B1 minimum) and basic knowledge of French (A1).
