Application Support Engineer - SAP FI Joint Venture Accounting
Summary
Day-to-day production support for SAP FI and Joint Venture Accounting (JVA): troubleshooting incidents, root-cause analysis, monitoring interfaces and batch jobs, coordinating with Basis/ABAP/Security teams, and supporting month-end and year-end financial close within SLA and on-call commitments.
Detailed Job Description:
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP FI and JVA production incidents.
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and recommend permanent solutions.
• Support critical business processes and prioritize incidents based on business impact.
• Coordinate with SAP Basis, ABAP, Integration, and Security teams for issue resolution.
• Monitor interfaces, batch jobs, workflows, and data replication affecting FI/JVA processes.
• Evaluate and implement approved configuration changes.
• Support minor enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare functional specifications for development requirements.
• Perform system testing and validation for changes and fixes.
• Update process documentation and support knowledge articles.
• Provide day-to-day production support within SLA commitments.
• Participate in on-call support as required.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
• Monitor application health and proactively address potential issues.
• Track and report support metrics, trends, and service improvements.
