Application Support - Securities

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day production support for securities, stock options, and futures trading systems, ensuring high system availability and stability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents for web and mobile trading applications, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Monitor system performance, investigate production issues, and coordinate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Support application deployments, system upgrades, release activities, and change management processes.
• Manage and maintain application infrastructure, including IIS, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), load balancers, SSL certificates, and database connectivity.
• Participate in projects and enhancement initiatives, providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth implementation with minimal business disruption.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience supporting securities, equities, stock options, futures, or capital markets trading systems.
• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience across web applications and mobile applications in a mission-critical environment.
• Solid technical knowledge of Java, J2EE, SQL, APIs, scripting languages, Linux/Unix, and DB2 databases.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and infrastructure components, including IIS, WAS, load balancers, SSL certificate management, and database systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English; able to work independently and deliver projects with minimal supervision.
