Applications & Devops Consultant

The AppDev Consultant is accountable for managing the post‑sales activities by proactively assessing solution specifications in light of changing customer requirements, designing, planning, and implementing on‑premises or cloud solutions for migration. The role involves analysis of current on‑premises environments and providing solutions that meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Run, manage, and drive proof of concepts (POC) and requests for proposals (RFP), and close opportunities from a presales and implementation perspective.
• Help customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage Microsoft services.
• Work as a technical consultant alongside customer business development and infrastructure teams.
• Serve as both an infrastructure and application development specialist.
• Implement DevOps practices such as infrastructure continuous integration and automated deployment.
• Participate in design, development, review, and test efforts for application and data modernization.
• Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
• Provide deep software architecture knowledge with respect to cloud architecture and design patterns.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
• Create and execute a roadmap to modernize applications and move them to Azure.
• Use ARM, Azure Policy, Blueprints, and other technologies as part of integrated deployment pipelines for new solutions in Azure.
• Contribute to internal R&D projects and play an active role in the broader community.
• Adhere to New Signature and Client Information Security policies and ensure compliance at all times.
• Maintain and update technical qualifications to provide intensive technical consulting to prospective customers.
• Lead technical sales calls.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge about using AI tools and building AI POCs / production‑ready applications.
• Experienced Full‑Stack Developer with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Cloud and Azure (preferred).
• DevOps knowledge is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
