About the Client:
Our client is a rapidly growing commercial management company specializing in building maintenance and facility solutions across North America. They provide 20+ interior and exterior facility services, with professional commercial janitorial and disinfecting services as their core offering.
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative / Outbound Appointment Setter to drive the top of the sales funnel. You will focus on prospecting B2B businesses, handling objections, nurturing leads, and booking qualified appointments for the executive sales team. You will not be responsible for closing deals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Outbound Prospecting & Appointment Setting
- Make 100+ outbound cold calls per day, along with emails and text outreach.
- Navigate gatekeepers, overcome objections, and confidently pitch facility and janitorial services.
- Follow up consistently across multiple communication channels.
- Schedule qualified appointments directly on sales executives' calendars.
- Send professional follow-up emails and marketing materials to prospects.
2. CRM, Research & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate lead statuses, activity, notes, and follow-up schedules.
- Research target companies and identify key decision-makers.
- Keep CRM information fresh and organized.
- Provide detailed conversation notes so sales executives are prepared for appointments.
3. Reporting & Communication
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports tracking outreach activity, pipeline health, and appointment performance.
- Communicate effectively with the sales team and management.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Cold Calling Experience: Proven experience in B2B outbound cold calling and appointment setting.
- English Fluency: Excellent spoken and written English with strong U.S. cultural awareness.
- CRM Experience: Familiarity with CRM and sales dialer platforms.
- Strong Communicator: Able to move naturally off-script, think quickly, and handle objections confidently.
- Competitive Mindset: Motivated by targets, competition, and achieving daily appointment goals.
- Resilience: Comfortable handling frequent rejection while maintaining a positive attitude.
