Area Sales Manager - Protective Coatings - North of Italy
The Area Sales Manager will drive the growth of our protective coatings portfolio across North Italy (Lombardy, Piemonte, Liguria, and Emilia-Romagna), with full ownership of achieving ambitious revenue targets. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong command of the full sales cycle—from proactive prospecting and strategic relationship-building to effectively closing deals. They will leverage excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate our value proposition in a compelling, clear, and professional manner, fostering strong customer partnerships and consistently delivering results.
- Promote and sell the Protective Coatings portfolio, aligning solutions with customer needs,
- Achieve sales targets through proactive business development and effective sales execution,
- Identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders,
- Plan and execute territory strategies, adapting based on market feedback and performance,
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while developing existing accounts,
- Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and closing,
- Deliver product demonstrations, proposals, and tailored quotations,
- Leverage events, trade fairs, and presentations to grow the sales pipeline,
- Collaborate internally and monitor market trends and competitor activity,
- 3–5 years of sales experience, ideally within the Protective Coatings market in Italy,
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills,
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office,
- High level of integrity and professionalism,
- Ability to work effectively from a home office environment,
- Fluent in Italian (native) and English,
- Based within the assigned sales territory,
