Asp.Net Developer

We are looking for an experienced ASP.NET Developer with 3-5 years of relevant experience in designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, database development, application security, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party and internal systems.

2. Database Development

• Design and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
• Develop and maintain tables, views, functions, stored procedures, and SQL queries.
• Perform database optimization, indexing, backups, and data migration.

3. Application Maintenance

• Maintain and enhance existing applications.
• Analyze and resolve application errors, bugs, and performance issues.
• Implement change requests and functional enhancements.

4. Integration

• Integrate applications with APIs, authentication services, email/SMS gateways, and other systems.
• Support data exchange between applications and databases.

5. Security

• Implement authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), and secure coding practices.
• Address application vulnerabilities identified through security and VAPT audits.

6. Testing and Quality Assurance

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production deployment.
• Follow coding standards and application development guidelines.

7. Deployment and Support

• Support application deployment on IIS and production infrastructure.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Provide technical support and resolve incidents within agreed timelines.

8. Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare technical, database, and API documentation, user manuals, and deployment/configuration documents.
• Maintain source-code repositories and version history.
• Submit periodic progress reports and maintain records of issues, enhancements, deployments, and completed activities.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, SQL queries, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, and secure coding practices.
• Experience in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and application maintenance.
• Knowledge of IIS deployment, production support, and Git/version control.

Educational Qualification

BE/BTech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT), as per the tender eligibility requirements.
