Asset Integrity Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Asset Integrity Engineer to join our Brisbane team based in Archerfield.

Responsibilities:

• Design and coordinate on-site and laboratory testing in line with client and NATA requirements
  
• Perform mechanical and metallurgical tests as per LMATS procedures
  
• Select appropriate test methods and arrange necessary equipment
  
• Manage and maintain laboratory testing equipment, including calibration
  
• Conduct site inspections and liaise with clients to define test scopes
  
• Analyse failure data, perform root cause investigations, and provide technical recommendations
  
• Supervise engineering and technical staff during project execution
  
• Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with relevant standards
  
• Prepare detailed technical reports documenting testing outcomes
  
• Contribute to budgeting and scheduling of asset integrity projects
  

Skills:

• Strong understanding of material properties, mechanical and electronic principles
  
• Knowledge of advanced NDT techniques, condition monitoring, and structural health analysis
  
• Proficiency in quality and safety management systems aligned with regulatory standards
  
• Familiarity with asset lifecycle management, root cause analysis, and collaborative engineering practices
  
• Capable of managing technical documentation and reports
  

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant degree in Engineering (preferably in Materials, Mechanical or Metallurgy)
  
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Non-Destructive Testing
  
• AINDT certifications (UT, MT, RT, PT Level 2 ISO 9712) or ability to obtain
  
• Manual C-Class driver’s license (essential for travel to client sites)
  
• Strong computer literacy and technical reporting skills
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  
• Willingness to travel across regional and interstate locations as needed
