Asset Integrity Engineer

We are currently seeking a qualified Asset Integrity
Engineer to join our Brisbane team based in Archerfield.
Responsibilities:
- Design
and coordinate on-site and laboratory testing in line with client and NATA
requirements
- Perform
mechanical and metallurgical tests as per LMATS procedures
- Select
appropriate test methods and arrange necessary equipment
- Manage
and maintain laboratory testing equipment, including calibration
- Conduct
site inspections and liaise with clients to define test scopes
- Analyse
failure data, perform root cause investigations, and provide technical
recommendations
- Supervise
engineering and technical staff during project execution
- Oversee
quality control and ensure compliance with relevant standards
- Prepare
detailed technical reports documenting testing outcomes
- Contribute
to budgeting and scheduling of asset integrity projects
Skills:
- Strong
understanding of material properties, mechanical and electronic principles
- Knowledge
of advanced NDT techniques, condition monitoring, and structural health
analysis
- Proficiency
in quality and safety management systems aligned with regulatory standards
- Familiarity
with asset lifecycle management, root cause analysis, and collaborative
engineering practices
- Capable
of managing technical documentation and reports
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant
degree in Engineering (preferably in Materials, Mechanical or Metallurgy)
- Minimum
3 years of hands-on experience in Non-Destructive Testing
- AINDT
certifications (UT, MT, RT, PT Level 2 ISO 9712) or ability to obtain
- Manual
C-Class driver’s license (essential for travel to client sites)
- Strong
computer literacy and technical reporting skills
- Excellent
verbal and written communication in English
- Willingness
to travel across regional and interstate locations as needed
