Asset Service - Associate/AVP

Job Description:

Jefferies will have joint venture company with SMBC Nikko in 2027, hence we are looking for additional HC who can handle corporate action events for Japan market working with current employee at Jefferies.

Asset Service team will support all cash dividends and CA events including mandatory event and non-mandatory events mainly for Japan market.

Qualification:

• Minimum 3 years’ of working at Asset Service team
• A good understanding of the corporate action events and its process. Good to have but not must: post execution trade lifecycle from booking, allocation, confirmation and settlement
• Must be highly analytical with excellent organizational and communication skills - able to confidently face off against the Business, Senior Management and external clients
• Must be able to resolve multiple exceptions and queries through to resolution in a busy, time-critical environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• We are looking for a person who wants to challenge at smaller company which is expanding business
• Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office products
• Fluent Japanese and Business level English (English is not must)
