Assistant Account Manager
The Assistant Account Manager plays a vital support role within the Account Management team by executing day-to-day administrative and operational tasks that contribute to the overall success of client portfolios. This position is typically hourly and is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working behind the scenes to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of services. Assistant Account Managers do not provide strategic recommendations or client advisement but are integral to the smooth operation of account processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers and/or Senior Account Managers with administrative tasks across assigned client portfolios.
- Monitor shared inboxes, organize documentation, and track task completion to ensure portfolio workflows remain on schedule.
- Enter and update client or property-level data in internal systems and tools.
- Assist in the preparation of client reports and internal deliverables by gathering, formatting, and validating data.
- Manage and track account-specific workflows such as onboarding/offboarding checklists, communication logs, and billing updates.
- Participate in internal meetings to take notes, follow up on action items, and provide organizational support.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Billing, Synergy, Meters) to support client service delivery.
- Escalate potential issues or delays to the appropriate Account Manager for resolution.
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and meets internal quality standards and timelines.
Qualifications
- Administrative, customer support, or data entry experience.
