Job Description
- Register inpatient and outpatients using KCIS / HITS system.
- To use card reader to verify patient identification through Mykad.
- New case patient/relative require to filling up details and signing of consent and PDPA form.
- Any changes of patient details require update immediately in KCIS/HITS system.
- Update the progress of admission process in Portal Care Tracker-Business Office.
- Responsible for admission process:
a. ID Band is printed and wearing to patient hand correctly.
b. Bed allocation and patient details in HITS system are updated.
c. Details explanation given to patient based on checklist admission.
- Collect sufficient deposit from patients upon admission and patient failed to pay deposit will be follow up on next day.
- To carried out duties at registration counter accident and emergency area after office hours.
- To check the availability of beds for patients with Bed Management Coordinator
- Accompany patient/relative to the respective ward upon admission.
- Serve with kindness to all patients during their admission to hospital
- To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and
Health Act and Regulations 1994:-
a. To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons;
b. To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty;
c. To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.
- To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
- Participate actively in any other new service that is introduced
- Ensure compliance of Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008)
- Ensure the policies on Patient and Family’s Rights are addressed at all times.
- Ensure all Hospital policies and procedures and Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
- Adopt the policies and procedures of
ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, Malaysian Hospital Accreditation Standards and Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards - Any appropriate job assigned by Superior
