Assistant Dance Instructor
SUMMARY: This job includes assisting the lead teacher with instruction and education of children between the age(s) of 3-18 years in various dance disciplines. This position has the opportunity to move up in leadership over time. QUALIFICATIONS: The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - 16 years of age or older
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights/weekends

Physical Demands -
- Demonstrate various progressions or skills with arms, legs, head, etc.
- Be on your feet and active for an hour or more at a time
- Spot all skills required of the classes that you are teaching
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES include the following:
- Ability to handle high pressure situations such as accidents and minor injuries
- Being on time, dependable, and maintain the same schedule
- Communicating with students and lead teacher throughout sessions when necessary
- Be able to have effective class management skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Dance experience is required
- Experience working with children preferred
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date

- Dance facilities are covered, climate-controlled facilities
