Assistant Engineer (IT Networking/Cybersecurity, Training Provided)

Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of railway systems, including PC cloning/imaging and Windows setup and hardening for system deployment.

• Maintain railway system networks and endpoint security — troubleshoot connectivity issues, configure switches and firewalls, and keep antivirus definitions up to date.

• Read and interpret SLD and perform wiring works for LAN and power cabling to support installation and maintenance.

• Manage system operations and failures by providing timely troubleshooting and emergency response, including work under site conditions and night shifts when required.

• Prepare technical documentation and reports to support operational compliance and record-keeping.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or any relevant field.

• Knowledge of networking, switches, and firewall configuration is an advantage.

• Able to work on shift.
