Role Overview

Join our client which is globally recognized MNC specializing in high-precision glass and metal connection components. As an Assistant Engineer, you will be the technical anchor on the production floor, ensuring machinery performance, operational safety, and team coordination. We are looking for a proactive leader who is comfortable speaking in front of a group to lead daily production briefings and safety reporting.

Job Scope:

• Coordinate with certified operators to ensure optimal staffing and supervise adherence to standardized work instructions.

• Lead daily morning briefings to share production goals, address issues, and report status updates to the team.
• Set up machinery according to precise parameters and provide immediate technical support to operators to resolve day-to-day equipment issues.
• Accurate material verification and inventory updates within the ERP system; review and approve operator output records for compliance.
• Make informed decisions on quality concerns and have the authority to suspend production to prevent defective output.
• Identify workplace risks, conduct safety audits, and investigate incidents to ensure a safe work environment in line with environmental and health policies.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Experienced in manufacturing or machinery operations such as in Semiconductor, Automation, Aviation, or Medical Device industries is a plus.
• Able to work on shift hours
