Assistant Field Operation Manager
Overview Own local potato supply performance for assigned zone, balancing area, volume, quality, and cost in line with AOP (Annual Operation Plan). Lead and integrate agronomy execution across sub-zones through supervisors, ensuring consistency with Best Practices and PTT model. Manage supply risks and trade-offs (weather, growers, seed, competition) and drive corrective actions proactively. Develop local supply organization capability and leadership pipeline to support medium- to long-term business growth. Responsibilities Business Results: Ensure sufficient qualified planting areas, growers, and inputs to deliver zone supply plan. Deliver potato volume and quality from zone to factory, aligned with AOP targets. Optimize farm cost and productivity by enforcing standardized farming models and best practices across sub-zones. Assess local supply risks, competitor activity, and market dynamics to protect supply continuity. Ensure accuracy and reliability of zone supply data, reporting, and forecasts. Ensure all zone operations comply with Agro work processes, GCS, and company policies. Support EHS system and ISO system. People Results: Develop Agro Supply Supervisors’ functional and leadership capability aligned with Agro competency framework. Coach and guide supervisors to deliver results through their teams, not direct execution. Build strong cross-functional collaboration with Seed, Receiving, CR, and Finance. Drive safety, discipline, and sustainable work practices across the zone. Qualifications Bachelor of Agricultural Science or Agricultural economic with Major in Horticulture, Agronomy, Economics Exposure to contract farming & post-harvest operations Minimum 5 years experiences in agricultural extension management or agricultural procurement management or agricultural processing management. Good computer literature in Microsoft office. Good in Thai and English communication (writing, reading and speaking). Experience in contract farming business or food/agro supply chain
