Job Summary
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager supports the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring efficient service, well-stocked bar areas, and satisfied guests. This role works closely with the F&B team to supervise shifts, address guest needs, and maintain high standards of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service across all outlets
  • Supervise and support front-of-house and bar staff during scheduled shifts
  • Assist with guest requests and resolve service issues promptly and professionally
  • Monitor and maintain bar inventory, ensuring proper stocking levels of beverages and supplies
  • Run shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff coordination, and service flow management
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to implement operational policies and service standards
  • Train and mentor staff on service protocols, guest interaction, and operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations throughout all shifts
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a food and beverage, restaurant, or hospitality supervisory role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for guest and staff interactions
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of bar operations, inventory management, and beverage service
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Prior experience running shifts or managing small teams in an F&B setting
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory tracking tools
  • Alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS or equivalent) is a plus
