As an Assistant Group, Conference and Events Manager, you’re not just supporting sales strategies to maximize event revenue – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Support revenue growth: Assist the Groups, Conference and Events Manager in driving conference and banqueting revenue and profit through proactive selling, calendar management, and pricing strategy
- Ensure sales process excellence: Uphold high standards across all conference and events sales processes, including accurate quoting and consistent vendor pricing across channels
- Coordinate onboarding: Partner with HR and commercial leaders to ensure appropriate delivery of onboarding and training plans for Revenue, Reservations, and Conference & Events teams
- Support client satisfaction and event success: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client expectations are understood and met throughout the planning process, contributing to a seamless event experience
- Ensure compliance: Maintain internal controls to ensure all sales processes align with Hilton standards, hotel brand guidelines, and operational policies
- Promote the hotel: Support and participate in promotional initiatives to increase visibility and attract new business opportunities
