Job Summary

The Assistant Interior Designer supports the design team in developing and delivering residential interior design projects, contributing technical skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. This role welcomes motivated candidates with 1–2 years of experience or fresh graduates eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing design concepts, space planning, and selecting materials to meet client needs
• Create clear, professional client presentation materials using PowerPoint to effectively communicate design ideas
• Produce 3D visualizations and perspectives using 3ds Max, SketchUp, or 酷家乐 (KuJiaLe) to support project presentations
• Coordinate project progress by liaising with clients, 3D rendering teams, and construction drawing teams to ensure timely delivery
• Support the design team by taking accurate site measurements and facilitating communication between internal teams, clients, and contractors
• Perform site-related tasks and provide general design support to maintain project workflow and quality
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn, proactively seek feedback, and adapt to project requirements
• Work flexible hours as needed to meet project deadlines and client expectations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or a related design discipline
• 1–2 years of relevant interior design experience
• Ability to produce professional and visually appealing PowerPoint presentations
• Working knowledge of at least one 3D design software (3ds Max, SketchUp, or 酷家乐)
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support project needs
