Assistant Lead Engineer - DevOps (Software Engrg & Enterprise Tooling)
Summary
You will implement CI/CD pipelines, develop Ansible automation, onboard projects, and provide L2/L3 operational support for Synapxe's DevSecOps Platform (HIP) in the healthcare sector.
Position Overview
The potential candidate will support the adoption and consumption of the Synapxe DevSecOps Platform – Healthcare Integrated Pipeline (HIP) by enabling application teams with platform capabilities, automation solutions, and self-service resources. The role focuses on implementing CI/CD solutions, supporting project onboarding, developing automation capabilities, and providing operational support to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery practices
Role & Responsibilities
Support project onboarding activities and setup of build and release pipelines on the HIP platform.
Work with application teams to implement platform solutions aligned with HIP Platform Solution Architecture.
Configure, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support project delivery requirements.
Develop automation scripts, Ansible playbooks, templates, and reusable platform capabilities.
Support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of Ansible automation services.
Collaborate with application teams and platform users to support platform adoption and self-service enablement.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, knowledge articles, and self-service resources.
Support platform upgrades, technology refresh activities, migrations, and capability rollouts.
Provide Level 2 & 3 support for assigned platform capabilities, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
Participate in deployment activities and roster-based operational support for platform services.
Work closely with the Core Platform Capability team to implement and operationalise new platform capabilities.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across platform capabilities and services.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
3–6 years of relevant experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or related fields.
Good understanding of CI/CD implementation, software delivery practices, and platform operations.
Good hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps or similar DevSecOps platforms.
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar technologies.
Experience with Ansible, infrastructure automation, configuration management, or platform integration.
Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating environments.
Appreciation of security, compliance, vulnerability management, and secure software delivery practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
Good communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
