SummaryThe Assistant Manager, EHS Planning supports the development, maintenance, and standardization of corporate EHS programs, systems, and performance reporting processes. The role supports ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance, KPI tracking and timely reporting, GHG and ESG data tracking, analysis, and reporting, EHS policy and program updates, and system oversight. Working closely with EHS Operations, site leadership, and cross-functional teams, the Assistant Manager drives compliance, consistency, data accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement across all locations.
Compensation
$95,000 - $105,000 yearly salary range. (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily injury and incident reporting and ensure timely and accurate submission to internal reporting systems within designated timelines.• Track, analyze, and report key EHS performance indicators, including Lost Time Injury Rate (LTIR), Lost Time Frequency Rate (LTFR), Total Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR), and Days Away, Restircted or Transferred (DART), for internal and external reporting requirements.• Track, analyze, and maintain GHG and ESG data, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission through internal reporting systems.• Track, analyze, and maintain GHG and ESG data, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission through internal reporting systems.• Review and maintain EHS policies, programs, and procedures, coordinating with cross-functional teams to implement necessary updates and improvements.• Develop training materials, deliver EHS training, deploy health and safety training plans to Operations teams, and monitor training completion and effectiveness.• Analyze EHS performance data and trends to identify improvement opportunities, develop action plans, and coordinate implementation with cross-functional stakeholders.• Support standardization and continuous improvement of EHS processes, reporting systems, and performance management across locations.• Monitor and maintain the FLEX EHS management software system, ensuring data accuracy, system compliance, and timely updates, and prepare analytical reports and insights for management review and decision-making.• Coach and train EHS employees on EHS compliance requirements, policies, procedures, best practices, and departmental and company operating cadence to strengthen capability, consistency, and overall EHS performance.
- Monitor and provide oversight of safety monitoring systems, such as Samsara and Alert meter, and prepare surveillance and analytical reports as required.• Monitor inclement and extreme weather patterns across the U.S. and promptly notify affected sites and employees, including issuing appropriate safety communications and announcements.• Track and monitor department budgets, process invoices, and submit payment requests through the company’s internal portal.• Conduct monthly inspections of fire monitoring systems, first aid supplies, AEDs, and facility evacuation routes, and maintain inspection records and documentation.• Travel to operational sites as needed to conduct EHS audits, assessments, and provide on-site EHS support.• Conduct EHS on-boarding and safety training for new employees and track health and safety training completion for HQ employees.

Education & Experience
Bachelors Required
6 - 9 years of direct experience in Finance, Accounting
1 - 3 years supervisory experience
