Assistant Manager/Senior Executive, Inpatient Operations (Hospital)

Job Responsibilities

• Support strategic planning and operational transformation initiatives to achieve organizational goals and measurable performance outcomes.
• Oversee daily operations of assigned inpatient ward(s), including administrative functions, service coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Drive process improvements to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, resource utilization, and service quality.
• Monitor performance indicators and customer satisfaction, recommending and implementing improvement initiatives where required.
• Coordinate infrastructure and improvement projects, ensuring effective planning, compliance with standards, timely delivery, and budget control.
• Manage annual planning activities, including financial, manpower, and training requirements.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional projects, committees, and quality improvement initiatives to improve operational outcomes and patient care.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery matters.
• Review and update operational policies, procedures, and guidelines to support continuous improvement.
• Support relevant committees and undertake other assigned responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Degree is a MUST
• Min two years working experience for Assistant Manager and above.
• Strong analytical, organisational, coordination, interpersonal and communication (written & verbal) skills
• Project management skills and experience
• Practical knowledge of hospital operations preferred
