NewBe an early applicantThe Assistant Rooms Manager supports the daily operations of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Concierge services. This position works closely with Rooms leadership to maintain exceptional service standards, promote effective communication between departments, and ensure each guest receives a seamless and memorable experience.
Responsibilities include assisting with daily operations, supporting staffing and scheduling needs, coaching and developing associates, addressing guest concerns, and ensuring all hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards are followed. The Assistant Rooms Manager will work regularly from the Front Desk and throughout Housekeeping while collaborating with Concierge to coordinate VIP services, special requests, transportation, dining recommendations, activities, and other personalized guest experiences.
The Assistant Rooms Manager will also oversee and support Concierge operations by ensuring timely follow-through on guest requests, maintaining strong relationships with local partners, and upholding consistent service standards. This position will assist with Concierge training, scheduling, and associate development while ensuring that all services are delivered with professionalism, accuracy, and genuine hospitality.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who promotes teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively interact with guests, associates, and leaders across all departments. The Assistant Rooms Manager reports to the Rooms leadership team.
Salary Range\:
$63,000 to $70,000
Qualifications\:

- Two to three years of progressive hotel Rooms Division, Front Office, Housekeeping, or guest services experience preferred
- Concierge experience preferred
- Service-oriented style with a professional presentation
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- High energy, sound judgment, and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to effectively resolve guest concerns and create personalized experiences
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, and other hotel departments
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Hotel or Hospitality degree an asset
