Assistant Software Engineer (IS-Project)
Summary
The Assistant Software Engineer assists in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, functional design, module development, testing, and on-site commissioning. The role involves working with Java, relational databases, and potentially PLC programming for logistics-related projects.
Assists in gathering User Requirements and meeting Customer
Assists in creating Functional Specification and Basic Design
Develops the assigned software modules and performs internal testing
Assists in setting up of PC hardware, Server, and other peripherals
Assists in the testing and commissioning of software on-site
Assists in creating software deliverables (Specifications, Operation, Troubleshooting & etc)
Assists in the handing over of software deliverables to Customer
Assists in supporting the Customer after project go-live
Job Requirement :
Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design skills
Good understanding of relational databases and SQL, Oracle preferred
Basic understanding of PLC programming is an advantage
Minimum Qualification :
Diploma in Information Technology or relevant field.
