Locations: Fine Dining Locations – Piste Mountain Bistro and Trapper’s Restaurant
Join our high-performance culinary team at one of North America's top resort destinations. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is seeking a dedicated Assistant Sous Chef to support daily kitchen operations across our on and off-mountain dining outlets. This is a great opportunity for a skilled cook or junior chef ready to step into a leadership role within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Support kitchen leadership in daily operations and food prep execution
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and cleanliness meet resort standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff; lead service when senior chefs are absent
- Maintain inventory levels, prep lists, and ensure FIFO and labeling compliance
- Collaborate on seasonal menus and contribute to team success
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–4 years of experience in a professional kitchen (fine dining preferred)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Culinary degree and ServSafe certification preferred
- Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude, solid work ethic, and team-first mindset
