Associate, Alternatives Fund Accounting
You will own day-to-day fund accounting activities and administrator oversight for alternative investment funds. You will deliver financial reporting, support investor inquiries and due diligence, maintain controls, coordinate audits, recalculate management fees and carried interest, and improve processes, controls, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day fund accounting activities and administrator oversight
- Deliver timely and accurate financial information and reporting to Limited Partners
- Respond to investor inquiries
- Support due diligence activities
- Deliver customized reporting solutions
- Maintain the control framework
- Coordinate external audits
- Support annual audited financial statements
- Recalculate management fees and carried interest
- Report associated revenue information to Corporate Controllers
- Evaluate processes, controls, and technology enhancements
Requirements
- Experience in investment accounting, fund accounting, fund operations, public accounting audit, or related work
- Experience reviewing the work of others
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA designation or equivalent is a plus
- Understanding of GAAP, financial statements, management fees, and carried interest calculations
- Attention to detail

- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Advanced Excel skills are preferred
