Associate, Antitrust/Competition
Summary
Advises clients on global antitrust and competition law matters, including mergers, cartel investigations, and regulatory compliance, while preparing submissions and defending against allegations.

Situated across 5 continents, our team of competition law professionals provides clients with a truly coordinated approach to the most challenging global competition issues in virtually all jurisdictions across the world.
Key responsibilities include:
Undertaking merger analysis in Australia, across APAC and across the world
Preparing merger clearance submissions/applications in Australia and across the APAC region.
Advising on the competition law implications of supply chains, collaborations and other alliances.
Advising clients on all aspects of competition and consumer law matters, including cartel conduct, misuse of market power, anti-competitive arrangements, concerted practices, misleading and deceptive, unconscionable conduct, and other consumer protection matters.
Responding to ACCC investigations across all competition and consumer related matters.
Advising on access regimes and regulation of monopoly infrastructure
Advising on and obtaining clearance for foreign investment.
Contributing to the growth and development of the practice.
Skills and experience required:
PQE 4-6 years of competition law experience in private practice or with a regulator
Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative and analytical thinker
Outstanding communication skills - written and verbal.
Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when working across multiple projects.
Client service focus and commercial awareness
Team player
Strong judgment and initiative
