Associate Application Engineer
You will design, develop, and deliver technical and AI-based solutions, identify opportunities to improve business processes, select appropriate solutions, test and validate AI models, support Aladdin Post Trade platforms, establish business requirements, and collaborate with technology teams on business benefits, production support, and delivery.

- Build relationships with internal technology teams
- Ensure business benefits are captured and measured
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Identify process risks and gaps
- Implement technical solutions to resolve process issues
- Monitor developments in LLMs and machine learning
- Identify opportunities to apply AI to business processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Developer role
- Experience developing and implementing AI-based solutions preferred
- Proficiency in Java or Python
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Knowledge of relational databases, columnar stores, data modelling, data validation, or performance tuning
- Knowledge of APIs, networking, security, authentication, authorization, load balancers, or API gateways
- Understanding of machine learning models, including LLMs and neural networks
- Experience with machine learning or generative AI product lifecycles
- Familiarity with NLP techniques including sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and topic modeling
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containers, deployment automation, CI/CD, or DevOps
- Knowledge of observability and production support practices
- Project management, risk identification, communication, and business process skills
