Singlife was subsequently acquired by Sumitomo Life in March 2024, one of Japan’s leading life insurers, which valued Singlife at S$4.6 billion, making the transaction one of the largest insurance deals in Southeast Asia. Key AppointmentsWork within a team responsible for the account management of allocated partnerships; establish and sustain good working relations for the long-term growth of business. This role will also work closely with the team to deliver on the strategic direction to achieve sales target and business objective as well as to ensure all sales and operational processes are compliant with the regulatory & compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities This role shall work closely with the Head of Business Development and the team to implement the strategic direction of the cluster under their care and shall ensure that the achievement of their targets and business plan is in congruence with the department’s overall objective. Sales Cluster Management<ul><li style="margin:0in;font-family:Calibri;font-size:11pt;">To ensure growth targets on APE and headcount within the appointed cluster are met.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Conduct strategic planning and business needs analysis with the leaders and wealth planners of the appointed cluster to align financial objectives.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Actively engage team leaders in their recruitment activities to facilitate growth. </li><li class="MsoNormal">Where appropriate, takes a lead role with stakeholders at a working level to discuss sales management approaches for target clients.</li></ul>Key Decisions within the Role<ul><li>From time to time, will be assigned the lead role in the development of sales ideas for the Partnership Distribution team, including the training of the team.</li><li>Where necessary, the role holder shall engage and collaborate with other internal Singlife's departments to up the level of operational service standards and for the delivery of business plans.</li><li>Create and maintain a risk management environment that ensures risks taken by the function are identified, assessed and frequently monitored, managed and reported against</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the Financial or Insurance Industry</li><li>Experience in sales force / sales agency management or business account management</li><li>Good inter-personal and effective communication skills both written and verbal, building strong relationships at all levels</li><li>Detail focused, highly analytical orientation</li><li>Demonstrated ability to think strategically with problem solving skills</li><li>Ability to work independently with good time management skills</li><li>Highly motivated and well-organized</li><li>Good standard of professional presentation and group facilitation skills</li><li>Good knowledge of insurance practices, operations and processes.</li><li>Good knowledge of MS Office applications.</li><li>Good knowledge of the Life insurance industry with knowledge in Life Health and ILPs products..</li><li>Highly adaptable to changes</li></ul>
