Description

Job Title: Associate Business Systems Analyst

Job Summary:

As an Associate Business Systems Analyst, you are early in your career and build your skills by applying learned concepts to routine tasks and procedures, typically operating with about a one-day to one-week horizon on your work. You communicate clearly, are eager to learn, and build productive internal working relationships as you support the products and clients assigned to you. You work from detailed instructions and established procedures, ask for help from senior team members early and often, and independently resolve minor problems as they arise.

Essential Functions:

Product Knowledge. Build a foundational understanding of product offerings and functionalities, actively learning through training, documentation, and shadowing senior team members. Begin to recognize common use cases within the product.

Technical Configuration. Complete low-complexity configurations with guidance and review from senior team members, and observe and assist on medium-complexity configurations. Build proficiency in client configuration using JSON editing and HUB.

Troubleshooting. Investigate and resolve low-complexity support tickets by applying product, configuration, and documentation knowledge, escalating to senior team members when a ticket is outside your experience. Learn to identify potential root causes, including configuration errors, data problems, or software defects.

Technical Proficiency. Build working knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Data Dog, Big Query, and JSON for client issue resolution, proactively seeking guidance and learning opportunities from senior team members.

Customer Interaction and Communication. Develop skills in conveying technical information clearly and concisely. Support customer implementations and post-live engagements alongside senior team members, gradually taking on a more active role in customer interactions.

Accountability. Manage assigned tasks with regular supervision and check-ins, escalating issues and seeking clarification as needed. Take ownership of individual tasks and work to meet deadlines.

Team Contributions. Contribute to maintaining documentation and share fresh-eyed observations that help improve team processes. Actively participate in team meetings, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
