Bristol-Myers Squibb Company is hiring a(n) Associate Director, Decision Intelligence Tools & Solutions (in Princeton, NJ).
Duties: Lead the evaluation, development, and enhancement of analytic capabilities related to econometric modeling, segmentation, test-and-learn frameworks, customer analytics, and omnichannel marketing analytics. Optimize marketing strategies by monitoring campaign performance, analyzing customer behavior, and assessing market trends to ensure effective audience targeting. Identify opportunities to develop analytical tools leveraging data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning techniques. Assess business impact by considering data limitations, emerging market needs, ad-hoc events, and urgent measurement requirements. Develop strategies for large-scale data collection to identify operational inefficiencies and drive process improvements across the organization. Provide strategic leadership in designing and implementing innovative analytical solutions aligned with commercial and marketing objectives. Oversee technology adoption and performance measurement using platforms such as AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, and MLOps to accelerate data-driven decision making. Facilitate integration of customer insights across departments by collaborating with cross-functional teams and promoting knowledge sharing within the Decision Intelligence group on impact measurement best practices. Utilize predictive analytics and machine learning models to forecast demand fluctuations and improve operational efficiency. Serve as a liaison between the Decision Intelligence leadership teams for U.S. and Global markets to ensure alignment of strategy and analytics initiatives. Develop GenAi solutions to provide more real-time support to commercial stakeholders in their decision making. Telecommuting permitted up to three (3) days per week.
Up to 10% domestic travel may be required based on business need.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience, of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Econometrics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, and 4 years of related work experience.
Must have four (4) years of experience in the following skills (which may be gained concurrently):
• Implementing ML algorithms and statistical techniques including Power Analysis, Ridge Regression, Bayesian Regression, and Hierarchical Bayes Models;
• Creating multivariate statistics and predictive models using SQL, or Python;
• Utilizing multiple data sources including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Databricks, and Snowflake;
• Designing web-based applications utilizing Figma, Python-Dash, Streamlit, or React.js for development;
• Implementing agile methodologies throughout the Software Development Lifecycle with Commercial or Digital Analytics in the life sciences industry.

Paid Time Off
- US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited, with manager approval, 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)
- Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays
Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.
All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.
*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.”
