Expand your career in Sales and assist in leading the Sales team of the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington as Associate Director of Sales!
The Associate Director of Sales is an experienced senior level role that reports directly to the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. The position is typically set up to experience the training and development necessary to become a future Director of Sales for Hyatt, and the ability to work at other hotels in the future is preferred. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the mentoring and training sales and support team members, hiring and onboarding colleagues, leading team meetings, working with other Associate Directors across the hotel to contribute to strong hotel wide collaboration, managing key accounts, systems training, report analysis, some business travel and tradeshows, customer entertainment/FAMS, community involvement and networking. The ADOS will grow and support the DOSME through involvement with the annual business plan process, forecasting, and owners meetings. This position may be required to serve as Director in the absence of the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events. This Sales and Events team is a combined team at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington so the Associate Director of Sales will assist Events Team Members as well at times.

Wage Information\:
The salary range for this position is $97,000 to $155,000. The starting salary for this position will be between $97,000 to $118,000. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education
Experience\:
A minimum of 5-7 years previous sales experience
Supervisory experience highly preferred
Ability to train and monitor the sales process for multiple group and event sellers
Excellent customer relation skills
Creative thinker who motivates a team to elevate the selling process and achieve goals
Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization including managing up, down and with peers
Presentation and organization skills of utmost importance
Ability to time manage and reprioritize duties with multiple team members who report up to you
