Associate Engineer - Tester Support Group
Summary
Responsible for tester installation, re-configuration, upgrades, repairs, and debugging, as well as troubleshooting equipment issues to minimize downtime. Works with team and vendors, and supports internal audits. Core technologies include Testers and Handlers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for tester installation, re-configuration, upgrades, repairs and debugging.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize machine downtime.
- Work closely with supervisor and team to resolve equipment-related issue, monitor project status, and proper closures.
- Liaise with machine suppliers and vendors on project tracking, progress monitoring and timeline management.
- Support internal audit and render assistance in solving outstanding/quality issues.
Requirements
- Diploma/ITE/Professional Certificate in Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of Testers, Handlers would be advantageous, fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Positive learning attitude and strong team player.
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
- Able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
