Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced SAP APO Demand Planning Lead to join our SAP Planning – Delivery department. The Associate Manager will own end‑to‑end demand planning solutions, guide a team of consultants, and partner with business units to translate forecasting requirements into robust SAP APO implementations that enhance supply chain performance.
- Lead the design and configuration of SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) models, master data, and planning books.
- Drive end‑to‑end implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define forecasting strategies, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Integrate SAP APO DP with SAP ECC, BW, and other enterprise systems, overseeing data flows and interfaces.
- Mentor and supervise a team of SAP consultants, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
- Develop and maintain demand planning processes, statistical models, and key performance indicators.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for users and business partners on APO DP functionality.
- Perform root‑cause analysis and provide ongoing support for production issues and enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with governance, data quality standards, and change‑management procedures.
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, and executive presentations for senior leadership.
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP APO Demand Planning, including configuration and integration.
- Proven track record of leading full‑cycle SAP APO DP implementation projects.
- Strong functional expertise in demand forecasting, statistical modeling, and supply chain concepts.
- Experience with SAP ECC, BW, and SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, mentoring junior consultants and managing project teams.
- Relevant SAP APO certification or equivalent SAP training.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across India as required.
