Associate Manager - SAP-SAP BASIS

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an Associate Manager – SAP Basis to spearhead SAP modernization efforts within our Delivery department. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Basis landscapes for S/4HANA migrations, both greenfield and brownfield, while leading a high‑performing technical team and ensuring seamless integration with broader enterprise solutions.

• Design, implement, and support SAP Basis architecture for S/4HANA greenfield and brownfield migrations.
• Lead a team of Basis consultants, providing technical guidance and performance reviews.
• Oversee system landscape, including ECC, BW, PO, and cloud integrations.
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and security compliance across SAP environments.
• Drive automation using scripting, Ansible, or SAP Landscape Management.
• Coordinate with functional, infrastructure, and security teams for end‑to‑end delivery.
• Manage capacity planning, performance tuning, and root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare and present status reports, risk assessments, and project documentation to stakeholders.
• Stay current with SAP roadmap, SAP S/4HANA upgrades, and modernization best practices.

• 10+ years of hands‑on SAP Basis experience, including S/4HANA.
• Proven experience in greenfield and brownfield SAP migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA, and related database platforms.
• Expertise in system administration, transport management, and security.
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, SAP Landscape Management).
• Ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; SAP certifications preferred.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, client‑focused delivery environment.
