Associate Manager - SAP-SAP S4 HANA ABAP

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking an experienced Associate Manager for its S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role involves leading ABAP development initiatives, delivering high‑quality enhancements, managing interfaces, and providing robust production support for SAP S/4HANA environments. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions while mentoring a team of developers.

• Lead a team of ABAP developers in design, coding, testing, and deployment of S/4HANA solutions.
• Develop and enhance custom ABAP objects, reports, BAPIs, BADIs, and enhancements.
• Design and implement interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFC, OData, and SOAP/REST services.
• Perform debugging, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of production issues.
• Provide 24/7 production support and ensure SLA compliance.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical roadmaps.
• Manage change requests, transport management, and system landscape coordination.
• Prepare technical documentation, test scripts, and status reports for stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of SAP ABAP experience, with at least 2 years in S/4HANA environment.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in ABAP development, enhancements, and debugging.
• Proficiency in SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) and integration techniques.
• Experience with SAP NetWeaver, Eclipse/ABAP Development Tools, and SAP Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of OOP ABAP, BOPF, and CDS views.
• Familiarity with SAP UI5/Fiori is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
• Strong communication skills in English; Hindi proficiency optional.
