Associate Medical Laboratory Technologist (Cardiac)

Performs cardiovascular tests and assists with cardiac imaging procedures in a hospital lab using specialized equipment like echocardiography and treadmill ECG systems.
Job Description
The incumbent shall be responsible to:
- Coordinate and participate in a variety of duties involved in the operation and maintenance of cardiovascular equipment to provide detailed analysis of cardiovascular functions in the laboratory
- Perform routine cardiovascular tests, including transthoracic echocardiography, treadmill ECG testing, blood pressure and Holter monitoring
- Assist in performing transesophageal echocardiography
- Assist with interventional imaging system, such as IVUS, FFE, IABP and OCT
- Assist interventionists in cardiovascular laboratory and record procedure in cardiac reporting system
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Biomedical Science (preferably with specialisation in cardiac technology) and/or with relevant experience
