We are seeking an innovative and results-oriented leader to take charge of our Competitive Intelligence & Pre-Sales department. This role is pivotal in shaping our organization's strategic direction and market position. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in competitive intelligence, pre-sales, or strategy consulting, with a strong background in building and scaling successful teams.
  • Lead competitive intelligence strategy, establishing frameworks for intelligence gathering and activation.
  • Drive pre-sales excellence through scalable methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.
  • Partner with C-suite executives, providing actionable competitive insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Build and mentor competitive analysts, solution engineers, and pre-sales professionals.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, developing comprehensive profiles of key market players.
  • Create battlecards and enablement materials to empower sales teams in competitive scenarios.
  • Establish KPIs for competitive intelligence, tracking win rates and stakeholder confidence.
  • Provide technical sales support for high-value opportunities, driving solution design and value engineering.
  • Manage RFP responses and proposal development, ensuring competitive positioning and unique value propositions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical capabilities with market demands and threats.
  • 12-18 years of progressive experience in competitive intelligence, pre-sales, or strategy consulting roles.
  • Minimum 5+ years of senior leadership experience, managing cross-functional teams and strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to build and scale competitive intelligence programs and pre-sales operations.
  • Executive-level presence with C-suite presentation experience.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Business, Engineering, or related field) strongly preferred.
  • Deep technical expertise in enterprise software, cloud technologies, or industry-specific solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, translating technical concepts into business value.
  • Competitive intelligence and pre-sales mastery, including market research, analysis, and solution selling.
  • Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams.
  • Analytical proficiency with business intelligence tools, CRM systems, and data analysis.
