Summary
Associate Systems Engineer on a 12-month contract (extendable) with a global gaming company in Sydney, hybrid with 3 days WFH. Day-to-day: supporting systems in a live 24/7 environment in a small team, working with Linux at scale on cloud platforms and application security, and liaising with the company's team in China.
My client is a Global Gaming company currently looking to expand their System Engineering team in Sydney where they offer a Hybrid working model where you can work from home 3 days per week
You'll be working in a team of 3 local Systems Engineers supporting their systems in a live 24/7 environment.
To be successful you'll need experience on Linux systems at scale on cloud platforms coupled with knowledge of cloud infrastructure and application security including identifying security problems and addressing potential threats
You'll also be liaising with their overseas team in China so you'll need to be confident communicating in both English and Mandarin
The role is an initial 12 month contract though has the potential to be extended for an additional 12 months.
