Attorney Pre-Litigation Personal Injury

This role is based in our St. Louis office. You'll carry a personal injury pre-litigation caseload — building client relationships, negotiating with insurers, and moving cases toward resolution — while dedicated paralegals, case managers, and intake staff handle the administrative load so your time stays on law.

What You'll Do

• Manage a personal injury pre-litigation caseload from intake through demand and resolution
• Build and maintain client relationships through consistent, proactive communication
• Negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to maximize client recovery
• Draft demand letters, settlement agreements, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Collaborate with and direct paralegal and case management staff in the St. Louis office
• Develop referral relationships that grow your book of business — and your income

What We're Looking For

Required

• Active Missouri Bar license
• Eligibility to obtain an Illinois Bar license (UBE score or reciprocity)
• Organized and self-directed approach to a high-volume caseload
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working with legal technology and case management platforms

Preferred

• At least one year of personal injury experience (strong candidates with relevant civil litigation background will also be considered)
• A genuine client-first orientation — an understanding of how a case outcome affects someone's life
