Audio Software Developer

Overview

Audio Software Engineer – Video conferencing audio algorithm development at Cisco Norway. The Audio Software team is responsible for creating the audio algorithms that run on our video devices, integrating them seamlessly with hardware, software, and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy audio processing algorithms on our video conferencing devices.
• Use modern ML frameworks to design and implement new audio algorithms.
• Take ideas from concept to production, directly improving the experience for millions of users.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a closely related technical field.
• Programming experience in C++ or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

• A problem solver with a strong eagerness to learn new skills and expand knowledge in a constantly evolving field.
• Strong interest in or experience with audio signal processing.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks.
• Experience with embedded software development.
• Enjoys being part of a team and working towards common objectives.
