Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, the engineer will design, develop, and deliver automation systems and related engineering packages while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements, client expectations, and quality standards.

The role may include full or partial responsibility for the following assignments\:

· Understand project scope and execute engineering activities in line with project requirements.

· Prepare engineering and project budget estimates, schedules, and related planning inputs.

· Execute substation and industrial automation design, including network architectures, I/O and signal lists, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, fiber-based networks, control building arrangements, raceway layouts, and auxiliary AC/DC power systems.

· Prepare bills of materials and bills of quantities for equipment and project specifications.

· Coordinate design activities with other departments and project stakeholders as required.

· Perform quality reviews of engineering deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.

· Develop configurations and settings for network switches, data concentrators, RTUs, SCADA systems, PLCs, and related automation equipment.
