Automation Engineer

Summary

Designs and reviews industrial automation instrumentation and electrical drawings, supervises suppliers, and supports site commissioning for manufacturing or process plants.

  • Design and size instrumentation, including hook-up drawings and instrument sketches
  • Review and approve EIC documentation issued by instrumentation suppliers/manufacturers
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings (instrument location plans, cable & JB schedules, routing layouts, installation details, interconnection diagrams)
  • Support FAT/SAT participation and provide site support during instrumentation erection and commissioning
  • Supervise instrumentation suppliers and ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and delivered on time
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree (FH/TH) in Electrical Engineering, with at least 5 years' relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow) and industrial electrical/automation systems
  • Familiarity with ATEX and SIL requirements
  • Proficiency in electrical drawing packages (EPLAN 8 preferred; COMOS a plus)
  • Strong autonomy, decision-making ability, and very good written/spoken English

Compensation

  • Basic wage component (gross): 2 200 EUR/month
  • This amount is our minimal offered salary. Compensation is determined based on your level, skills, experience and qualifications.
