Automation Engineer
Salary: ₱50,000 – ₱60,000 per month
About the role
We are looking for an experienced Automation Developer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that improve operational efficiency and business processes. The ideal candidate has strong experience in automation development, scripting, low-code platforms, and process improvement initiatives. You will work closely with business users, developers, QA, DevOps, and IT support teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable solutions across the organization.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts, workflows, and frameworks.
Identify opportunities to automate business and operational processes.
Integrate automation solutions with existing applications, databases, and enterprise systems.
Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of automation solutions.
Monitor, maintain, and enhance existing automation processes.
Collaborate with IT, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver automation initiatives.
Create and maintain technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and user guides.
Support continuous improvement and automation projects that drive operational efficiency.
About you
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in automation development, application support, IT operations process improvement, or similar technical roles.
Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts, workflows, or frameworks.
Experience with automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, AI Builder, UiPath, or similar tools.
Working knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, VBA, C#, or similar technologies.
Experience with API integrations, data extraction, data transformation, databases, SharePoint Lists, Dataverse, or related enterprise systems.
Strong ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into scalable automation solutions.
Experience with testing, validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of automation workflows.
Experience creating technical documentation and support materials.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
