Automation Engineers- AI, Azure Devops - Major Australian Org

A major Australian organisation is seeking two Automation Engineers for some large AI driven automation initiates. The role will require you to work in the office 2 days a week. Initially a 6 month contract with possible extension.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on implementing and scaling intelligent automation, AI agents, CI/CD and release automation solutions directly within engineering squads.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Harness
• Design, and implementation of AI-driven testing and automated release orchestration across digital technology platforms.
• Configure service connections, REST API integrations, and secure credential management
• Connect Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions with ServiceNow

Key Skills / experience:

• 5+ years' hands-on experience across Automation Engineering, DevOps or Software engineering
• Strong Azure DevOps background
• CI/CD experience- particulaly with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Harness or similar tools
• Understanding of AI / AI automation
• Software engineering experience
• Python development experience- highly desirable
• Experience with ServiceNow Change Management- desirable
• Experience with pipelines, templates and automation
• Ability to understand and work with existing automation solutions
• Ability to work across squads and technical teams
