Automation Test Lead (Python)_Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead and Scrum Master with 14 to 15 years of extensive experience in software testing and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading testing teams and managing Agile projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, as well as promoting effective Agile practices within your teams. Expertise with Python, PyTest, Squish, Selenium, and GitHub Actions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Lead and mentor a team of testers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and testing processes to meet project requirements.
- Design and execute test cases, both manual and automated, to ensure thorough coverage of application functionalities.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and clarify acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Track and report on testing progress, identifying risks and issues early in the development cycle.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging teams to adopt best practices in testing and Agile methodologies.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders regarding testing status, issues, and risks, ensuring transparency throughout the testing process.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and leverage metrics to drive quality improvements.
- Mentor team members in Agile practices, testing techniques, and tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in testing and Agile practices.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 14 to 15 years of experience in software testing with a strong emphasis on Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience as a Test Lead and Scrum Master, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of testing tools and techniques, including automation frameworks.
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building strong team dynamics.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Agile Tester (CAT), ISTQB) are preferred.

1. **Test Strategy and Planning**:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the overall testing strategy and approach for projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with project goals.
- Create comprehensive test plans that encompass functional, performance, and security testing.

2. **Team Leadership**:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in testing procedures, methodologies, and best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that promotes continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to guide team members' professional development.

3. **Scrum Master Responsibilities**:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Serve as a servant leader, assisting the team in identifying and removing impediments to ensure timely delivery.
- Coach the team in Agile practices and principles to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.

4. **Test Execution and Management**:
- Oversee the execution of test cases, ensuring thorough documentation of results and defects.
- Implement manual and automated testing solutions to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Analyze test results and provide feedback to development and product teams to ensure a high-quality product.

- Establish quality metrics and benchmarks to assess the progress and success of testing efforts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in testing processes.
- Advocate for quality throughout the product lifecycle, influencing design and development decisions.

6. **Collaboration and Communication**:
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and business analysts, to ensure alignment and understanding of project requirements.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management and stakeholders regarding testing progress, risks, and quality status.
- Foster a positive, productive relationship between the testing team and other departments.

7. **Process Improvement**:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in both testing and Agile practices, implementing changes as necessary.
- Evaluate and adopt new testing tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
