Due to intensive growth, GlobalLogic Automotive department is glad to invite a Automotive C/C++ Embedded Engineer to become part of the GlobalLogic Automotive team.
We are looking for a professional Senior C/C++ Embedded Engineer with experience on full software development life cycle.
Our customer is an international company, one of the largest Tier 1 vendors in the automotive industry. The Company is cooperating with the world’s biggest car manufacturers, providing them with high-quality, cutting-edge, and comprehensive automotive computing platforms.
Job Description
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
Strong experience in C/C++ within development for Automotive Embedded systems, with ability to develop automotive SoC platform foundation software
Deep understanding of SDV Architecture, Zonal Networks, High-Performance Central Compute modules, Automated Driving, AI, Machine Learning, Perception modules, connected mobility and OTA updates
Technical experience with
o SoC Architecture: Qualcomm SA8xxx, Renesas RCAR, Nvidia Orin, TI.
o Communication Protocols: PCIe, SPI, UART, XCP, CAN, Ethernet, USB.
o Memory Management: UFS, DDR, Flash ROM, MMU.
o SoC related: Inter Core Communication, Tensor Processing, Servers, Accelerators, POSIX OS, QNX, RTOS, middleware, hypervisor and container engines.
Strong understanding if ADAS related fetures including:
o Image processing, Image transfer, Video Input and Video output handling in SoCs.
o Sensors such as Cameras, RADAR, LIDAR and Ultrasonic sensors.
Understanding of Clasic and Adaptive AUTOSAR software architecture and good experience of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Strong undestanding of CPU/GPU architectured, data structures, OS internals, multi-threading, inter-process communication, memory management techniques
Extensive hands-on experiecnte in BSP porting and devide driver internals
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills (English) and teamwork attitude
Nice to have:
- NVIDIA Drive OS experience and Hypervisor cvirtual platforms
- V-models, ASPICE, MISRA, ISO26262, Cybersecurity and Agile framework
- familiar with crypto algorithms and cryptographic authentication method
- ability to read schematics, electrical blcok diagrams and IC datasheets
Job Responsibilities
Develop automotive SoC platform foundation software.
Contribute significantly to the architectural design and evolution of embedded software platforms.
Deconstruct and simplify complex build systems, including Make and CMake, to improve development efficiency.
Drive the integration and testing of software modules on embedded Linux platforms.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices for embedded software development, particularly for safety-critical devices.
Conduct thorough code reviews, offering constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and consistency.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to embedded software, hardware interaction, and system performance.
Collaborate with Client to define requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and deliver innovative solutions.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software designs, implementations, and testing procedures.
